Mein Auto: 2003 E46 M3 CONVERTIBLE
Please Help!

Convertible top issue with my 2003 E46 M3... I was pulling into my neighborhood the other night and it had just started raining and I pushed the button on the console to start the closing cycle for the top when it stopped at about three quarters of the way up and the light started flashing slowly. I wheeled into my spot and broke out the allen wrench and cranked it down the rest of the way and locked it. Since then I've tried checking all the related fuses and all seem to be fine, took the backseat out completely and tried to manually resync the top and can't get it to cycle more than about 75% on its own power, before having to manually crank it down again lock it. Hoping somebody can give me a suggestion as to how I should proceed as I'm not trying to take it into the local dealer and get hit over the head.

Sounds like you have a failed sensor/micro switch. Without pulling the fault codes, it's hard to say which one has failed.
