BMW E65 2002 735i Error codes, suggestions needed

Hi All,

I have done a diagnosis with INPA and cleared some fault codes. but the below ones still remain. can anyone help if i can DIY these issues or its advised to go to a BMW dealer only?

done a search and found what these errors mean but couldnt find any DIY's. so your help is much appreciated

9649 Resistance,firing circuit,thorax airbag,front left,too low
9A6A Resistance,firing circuit,thorax airbag,rear left,too low
9C76 Auxiliary-water pump (my local car service replaced a pipe going to water pump coz of coolant leak and told the issues are resolved but still get error)
6059 Fault, wheel sensor undefined
604E Fault, RDC system

and lastly my bugging battery has been checked by car service guys and told that its in perfect condition but randomly i get 'recharge battery' warning whenver i run the CD player when car is off for 5 minutes (can be due to me not going for a loooong drive since loong time) ?

sorry if i have missed any of the above ones solved somewhere

Thank you

It could be your battery . Maybe try
Taking your battery out & charging it
Up . Put it back in & see if you still get
The Errors

Question on Battery charging: Why should you ever have to "charge" an ACTIVE battery? Wouldnt that mean something's wrong with either the battery itself or charging system in car?

yes you are correct , but if the battery holds a charge it might
help with solving the problem with his errors or at least giving
an idea at what else to look at ( alternator , battery , IVM , PM )

as some of my other BMW friends suggested, instead of removing battery and charging it, i took it on a loong 2 hour drive which as per them should recharge the battery to full

checked the codes and some new codes cam up

272C Additive mixture adaptation, bank 1 - control limit reached
272D Additive mixture adaptation, bank 2 - control limit reached

could this be that there is a vacuum leak somewhere? does it cost much ?

for the battery check, PAPER, can you check the below voltage screenshots and suggest any issue with the battery or you still recommend to charge it once separately? as the error codes still remain the same

and you might want to listen to the radio/cd with the ignition off. Just eject the key and hit the radio "ON" button. That way all the other car electronics are off and only the radio is on. I've never seen that "recharge" message since I started doing it that way

changed the battery to a better one and still the codes exist. so i guess the battery problem is ruled out.

gave my BMW to a dealer due to the check engine lights coming up for air sensors after repairing it at Bosch also. BMW fixed it for 230 euros but the car is still sitting at dealer to check what the Airbag lights are coming up for?

but the brainless bugger forgot to check the airbags since Tuesday and today when i called to know when i can pick up the car, he told he forgot the airbags and need time until Monday to check it.

as battery is not the problem, can you tell me what could have been the problem and how much more you think he would charge ?

please advise urgently as i am thinking to bring the car back today itself as i didn't like the attitude and carelessness of the dealer

to be sure on the battery problem, bought another perfect condition original BMW battery and registered it properly with DIS. cleared the codes and the airbag light has come back again

please help ..... now i have started regretting the buy with one problem a day, not able to resolve them without going to dealer who only services to earn as high as possible they can on a car

As per air bag harness yes it's a DIY , nothing complex about replacing a harness , but if you know where it's cracked or broken even easier to fix

The part # should be on your work order when you were at the dealer for the quote, sorry but it would be only a BMW thing ,or a used one , or a repair job. But on the A post it should be easy to repair
