X3 Lease Questions

Hello All..

i just received a initial deal over the phone from a dealer thats not local to me.

A left over 2013 35i

MSRP 54,695

I was given a round a bout number of $625 to $650 per month, with $3900 of inception fees.

I sent an email off to the CA, asking for specifics on the selling price, money factor etc...

Waiting to hear back.

So I have some additional details.

This is all assuming I have yet to visit the dealership, As I live about and hour and a half away, and this has been over phone / email. This is on a very specific car, 35i which is hard to find on a dealer lot, with my wifes choice of bronze metallic.

MSRP $54695

Discount of $3000 off above msrp

15 K Mile per year, 57 % Residual

Factor .00130

Pmt Roughly, $665

$3900 Inception Fees

Is this a good starting point ?

I was reading other posts with MSD's How could I apply these ?

What's invoice? Offer 700 over invoice and then take off all incentives.

Some states do not permit lessors to accept MSDs but NJ does allow it and regardless of your residence, the rules of the dealer's state govern the dealer's ability to accept MSDs. The last time I checked, BMWFS was reducing the MF by .00007 for each SD rounded up to the next $50 to a maximum of seven MSDs which yields a maximum reduction of .00049. If this is still the BMWFS rate and you advance the maximum of seven MSDs then your adjusted MF would be .00081. MSDs are fully refundable at lease end as long as you are not in default whereas putting down the same amount as capital cost reduction, which is your equity, leaves that amount at risk in an insurance loss or other early termination and the funds do not return to you at lease end.

I just purchased a 2013 X3 2.8i for 1,000.00 under invoice but found any dealer in the tri area quite easily willing to meet at least at least $500 under invoice. Key is to buy a car in inventory or one they can at least locate at another dealers inventory.
