That is a good price, but I would want any & all modules & wiring harnesses I could get. This is unchartered territory, but it would be interesting. Body dimensions from both models would help!

Good Luck!

F12 front and E63 rear? IMO it will look absolutely terrible. Really, really bad and a huge wasted of $$$. Put the money in the bank and save up for the F12 and all the other upgrades that come with it or do something useful like wheels, exhaust, or a vacation...

Having said that, if you do it, in for pics. I will happily eat my words if it turns out good, but mixing generations (Exx--Fxx) is not a good look for me.

Edit: the E63 is still one of the best looking cars out there to me. Completly unique look that is still relevant ten years after it came out. Don't ruin it by trying to make it something it's not.

^^^ This, especially if you're not doing it yourself. If you do it you might as well forget about ever selling the car for anything close it its value.

+1 on the beauty of the e63/4. I still miss my old convertible. She was a beauty.

Hey Alberto, always into something interesting! This would be very unique, you would get a lot of people who hate it and a lot of people who love it. I say if you want to do it go for it. I am not sure how the width measurements would work out, certainly all the mounting points for the bumper and lights would be different so would take a ton of fabrication?

Let us know what you do, I think it would be cool.

Personally, I think you'd be better off replacing bumpers/sideskitts with a tasteful aftermarket alternative. The e63 is such a beautiful car in its own right. That, a wheel resurface (assuming you have some road rash, etc.) and a professional full paint correction to bring it back to showroom shine, and I think you'd find yourself falling back in love.

Do it. You might get an award from BMW for innovation. My taste is a bit different, I like the E63/64 headlight more than the F12/13. I like the new rear more.

You could probably always recover your price on the parts later, if you change your mind on the project. Removing the front bumper & fenders is fairly easy. Until you attempt fitting the new body parts, everything is unknown? I do not know what part of the existing body parts & modules would be reuseable? If the parts you have access to are available at a fair price, get all that you can get.

Why not just get the F12 and be done with it. The F12 is a larger car that the e64 so after its done it may look funny because the proportions are different.

Ultimately the choice is yours. If its really what you want. I say go for it..

Look up Long Tran thread! It's revolution. You don't have to get the F12 if you don't like it tail-light. There is a F12 look bumper for the E64/63.

I think if LongTtan can modified the F12 front he can work on the headlight too. Should ask him.
