New Vehicle Car Warranty & No-Cost Maintenance: Transferrable?

If I purchase a used BMW from a friend (no CPO), does the New Vehicle Warranty and No-Cost Maintenance Programs transfer to me?

Or are these only for the original vehicle owner?

I looked on the BMW website and could not find the answer. Please help!

Those transfer to you - basically, until the car is older then 4 years from purchase or 50K miles, these are applicable.

Yes the warranty is tied to the car not the owner as stated.

Yes, it does. I bought a year and a half old 325i with 10K miles on it in 2007 and got the warranty without doing anything special.

Follows the vehicle not the owner.

The exception may be if the car was totalled and repaired. I'm not sure whether there's an effect if the car went through a lemon law buy back.
