yellow brake light

heard a pop when stopped at light, then the hand brake light came on "yellow" and the DSC light came on and stayed on. Brake pedal is now real soft when pressing to brake. Any ideas

Pull your back wheel and make sure your P-Brake pads didn't pop out, there's a small pin with a spring that holds pads to the dust guard, that may account for the pop you heard... as far as soft pedal, not sure, hard pedal is normally vacuum related. Soft pedal is more concerning..

Instead of buying parts, I would say you need to cease driving the car until you inspect your brake system. Start by checking fluid level. Guessing its low. Next step is to check for leaks at the wheels, master cylinder, and under the car.
