Good deal on a 08' M3 Sedan 6MT - Should I ?

I'm thinking about changing my 10' A4 Sport 6MT to either a 10' S5 V8, or an M3 of similar value...

I've been offered a good deal on a 08' 6MT M3 sedan and I'm wondering if I should jump on it or not...

Do you guys see any issues in the long run for that model, or anything I should look for before buying? Any weaknesses?

The car is a certified BMW used car and is warrantied up to 160K kms...

Let me know what you guys think.

Thx for the help

how many miles/km on it? only issue with the older m3s is the old tech nav package but thats just minor squibbling. the M3 is a very soundly made car. forgive the occasional creak or rattle, but the drivetrain and critical parts have stood the test of time. many guys have 100,000 plus miles with nothing crazy besides the normal wear and tear. it's a different beast than what you are used to. and this car has universal love from everyone, unlike many many other cars you see on boards.

What kind of a deal?

Cars seem to be pretty solidly built. Service history is important. An 08 will be out of the original warranty, who is providing the 160k km one?

Car has 42500 miles (68,000 kms, I'm in Quebec)

Sale guy gave me a quote at 40K$. I think there's still a little bit of room to negotiate.

Car is white, with Black Novillo Leather, 6MT.

Car if offered with the Certified 6y/160K kms warranty from the dealership (BMW). Note that the car doesn't have the 19" wheels, it has the 18" and doesn't have Nav either.

Gotta keep in mind that I'm not only in Canada, but in Quebec. Vehicles tends to be quite a bit pricier than USA here... 39.9K is reasonable I think...

I just bought the car

Ordered a set of 19" OEM rims + 4 tires to go on it. So my original 18" rims and tires will be for sale. Both are like new.

I was about to pull the trigger on a set of TPMS sensor for my new 19" wheels and just decided to call the dealership... Turns out I don't need the sensors, Canadian models doesn't use any TPMS sensor... Great!!

I guess it's the same as some new car, including the 2013 Accord, the ABS sensors do the job...

Cool! Did you posted any pics of yours on the thread? When do you plan on picking it up?

I was talking with a couple friends... and having such low profile tire on the M3 should really help with the flat spot issue. I don't think you'll have to worry about that.
