Does anyone know how to replace the cabin air filters on a 2010 750i xDrive? Details are appreciated - I just can't seem to find them! Thanks!

air flow direction

I assume you found these by now, under the glove box, remove hush panel, 3 or 4 screws to open filter box. BUT, I dont know which direction the air flows. Did you figure it out?

Anyone happen to have a part # for the micro-air filter? Feeling too lazy to look up right now.

What is this/where do you get it? Are there any instructions for taking the center console apart? Be great to remove the phone cradle.

Filter part number is: 64119272642

This is ISTA. I just took a few screen shots then poorly photoshopped it together. I'll look into the console directions next time I have ISTA running.

Great deal on a pair of these here on Ebay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/BMW-HEAT-AND...-/290897256311

They go for over $100+ at dealer plus tax. I Picked up a set for later. Thanks again.

I do think the dealer changes the microfilter as part of the free maintenance? It think it was referenced when I asked for the repair history on my car.

can anyone add ISTA screen shot for filter replacement on F01?

Above screen shot is really helpful but on my 2009 F01 750i,
Screw positions are bit different and it has a airbag sign which makes me scare to touch to pull plastic covers.

can anyone capture a screen shot on ISTA for F01 750i microcabin filter replacement pictorial?
Thanks.

Got an email today about the Microfilter needing service. Is this part of the maintenance ? if so then I guess I need to get it done. Needs the overall Oil service in about 4000 miles Can the Microfilter wait until then?

the notice was as follows:

Your 2011 750Li xDrive Sedan has indicated that you need to schedule a service appointment for the following service(s):
Brake fluid
Microfilter

so i bought the filter from ebay, got 2 of them in the box.
I replaced the one (there's actually two inside that compartment) on the passenger side, no issues.

Thank you for the guide

Am I the only one who doesn't understand that installation instruction??

Which way is the arrow meant to point at? Front of the car or back of it?
