E82 / E88 1 Series (2008 - 2013)
BMWs throw back to the iconic 2002, with a renewed form and function. The smallest car in BMW's line up but still packs a punch. Available in coupe or convertible, powered by either an inline 6 in the 128 or the twin turbo rocket sled 135.

Spark Plug Gapping

Does anyone know if you need to gap the spark plugs if you use the Bosch BMW spark plugs (Part ZGR6STE2)? I'm doing it for the first time on my 135i...thanks!

These are pre gapped. They have multi side electrodes. Just don't drop them

Many plugs come pre-gapped these days. It doesn't hurt to check them anyways, and a good gap tool is like 5 bucks (avoid the coin style ones!).

BB these are mutli electrode plugs. It is next to impossible to accurately check and adjust gap (not impossible though as there are ways).

When I pulled them out of the box to inspect them, I was NOT going to try gapping them, so I went with the first couple answers I received and didn't gap them and they work great...thank you!
