Exterior difference between X5 MSport and Non MSport

Aside from the fog lamps move to the lower air intake side grills on the MSport, are there any other notable difference?

Second question. Is the MSport lower than the Non MSport?

Thanks.

If I understand it correctly, the effective ground clearance compared to the standard model will depend on what suspension you select as part of the M-package. The choices are either sports suspension (lower clearance by TBD centimeters? don't know amount), standard suspension (no change), and adaptive drive (lower clearance by 1cm, I believe, TBC). May be some other members know the details.

Thanks. Didn't know that adaptive drive lowered the ground clearance.

Appearance wise.. Front and rear bumpers are different, side fender lip is more aggressive, roof rail is silver in color, side door guards are colored coded. And of course ///M markings are everywhere. That's all I can think of on the top of my head.

Trim all around the car is painted to color match the rest of the vehicle.

one thing i dont like is the wheel lip on the M being painted to match. I think the white x5 looks much better with the black lip.

I thought the m performance package for the 5.0 includes a different exhaust, but I'm not 100% sure.

I don't like how you can't get the cool looking running boards on the M like you do with the sport package.

I prefer the M-running board considering the one on the sport package are kind of useless anyways... I mean they are too narrow to be useful unless your have size 4 shoes

I would actually prefer the car without any runnign board at all... even better make these damn running board part of the door and have then open with the door so I can keep my pants clean when I get out the car... like in my old lexus rx350 Details, details..

There's 3 different exhaust options on the 50i, the base, the one that comes with ZSP or ZMP and the one that comes with ZMX. Sport pack (ZSP) and M Sport pack (ZMP) use the same exhaust though.

I wish BMW was documenting properly their package so we would actually know what we buy into ...

ZMX might not be that bad of an option afterall if they also have a special exhaust.. I thought only the tips were blacked out.
