Question New bmwusa config tool: when?

Anyone know when BMW will update its online configuration tool to show MY14 X3s? (Does the site generally lag MY availability like this? If so, for how long?)

bmwconfig.com's MY14 X3 options/pricing has errors and outdated dependencies - I've reported them but it sure would be nice to see what custom-build MY14s look like from BMW itself.

Thanks,

aberrant

I sent a message on bmwconfig too to update them. In the mean time you can go to Nada guides, it has current package pricing.

http://www.nadaguides.com/

This was actually more beneficial as I was able to print it easily and without the estimated Maco and use it as a base worksheet with my CA when ordering.

Thanks! Though I think there's an error in nadaguides:

Heated front seats are showing as requiring M Sport (ZMP) or Dynamic Handling (ZDH) packages. This isn't the case with the pricing guide I got last week (and posted here in another thread). So difficult to find accurate build information online! This is why BMW really needs to get its configurator updated for MY14.

EDIT: actually, there's a bug with nadaguides: if you select an option that requires a package, and don't select the package (thereby deselecting the option), any other option you select will "require" that package. I was able to configure it properly by refreshing the page.

Ahh, glad you got it to work. BMW site just got updated with 2014 X1 and that's been out what 2 months now? I guess another month for the X3 update.

It probably helps the dealers push old inventory.

There is another topic on this form about the May ordering guide for the X3...that is the one you should use! See link:

Oh shoot...sorry! I didn't look at the OP author. Do you have a specific question about options? i've studied this thing completely!

Actually - a style question: do you think the mojave seats would work with the space grey metallic, or is there too much brown in the leather?

I'm going into the "give me your best price" phase of the negotiations and really want to start at invoice and work up, something that the pricing guide doesn't give you. The nadaguides site works well for this (once you get past the bug I found).

I have NEVER seen the mojave interior so I cannot comment on that. As far as invoice/wholesale pricing, here are the numbers:

X3 35i - $41,125
Metallic Pain - $500
Cold Weather Pkg - $865
Driver Assistance Pkg - $865
Dynamic Handling Pkg - $1275 (if ordered with M Sport - $1185)
M Sport Pkg - $2865
Premium Pkg - $2000 (price ONLY for 35i)
Technology Pkg - $2865
Prem hi-fi - $795

Don't forget the destination fees and training fees added to all cars either! In any case, the above is what you would call "invoice" pricing.

Good luck!

Sorry, I am confused. You mean the invoice price does not include destination fee or the training fees?
