In the market for a used X6.. differences between the years

Hello. I am in the market for a used X6, but I don't think I want to buy a brand new 2013 model. That being said, I also don't want an 2008 or 09 model. In which years does the X6 more or less look the same, or are there big noticeable differences in the models each year? Would a 2011 pass for a 2012? Or would a 2012 pass for a 2013? and vice versa.

2013 added adaptive LED headlights, new grille and a change to the fog lights.

not much has changed cosmetically since 2008.. as the previous poster noted other than a small upgrade to the front end for 2013 the cars over the years are basically the same... In 2010 BMW upgraded the CIC/iDrive computer to a new version which I believe enhanced smartphone integration and added BMW Apps, etc. 2011 added the now standard 8 speed transmissions. 2011 also added Brake Regeneration as standard. 2012 the optional 3rd rear seat was made available...
