Get up earlier; take the long way; give your car a decent run. Bimmers need to get up to decent temp and charge at least a couple of times a week.

I do plan on purchasing it off lease and keeping it for many years (until I retire or longer). My E36 M3 is 14 years old, and I like this car better...
Jon-- Good for for you: 14 years with the same car. My 1999 528 is 13 years old and running fine. Don't let the newby bastards grind you down. Your car sounds great. Looks don't really matter. Thr important thing is how will it perform in a bad situation. You have nade a good choice, whether or not some people like the look of your auto.

Oh, stylinexpat, that's more than possible.

Ask me how I know?

I'm getting that put on before I take delivery at the PCD. I guess I'll find out in 8-10 weeks after I drop off this Friday.

With the Cayman S you get a much better interior with sexy stylin but much less horsepower. Dropping from 414 HP to 325 HP seems like a step back for me. I one spends most of the time in the city then I guess the Cayman S might be better as it is more fuel efficient and comes with a nicer interior but on the highway the V8 with 414 HP has the advantage if you spend more time on the highway and those stripes on that white M3 really look good.

Do they look like stickers on there from up close? From the distance you posted the pictures they almost look like they were painted on from the factory. Thanks...

Only bad thing aoudad the M3 compared to the Cayman S is how it drinks fuel lol.. For me it seems like I am always at the next gas station refilling that tank back up again.

True but the horsepower deficit is more than made up for by the 700 pound weight difference

This was sort of one reason I kind of liked the Cayman S which gets around 28-30 MPG but has about 89 less HP

Perfect M3 would be if it came in a bit lighter (like -400 lbs.) with a more efficient engine and a bit more torque (I'm dreaming)
It will be. It'll be called the M4 and it will have artificial sound played through the speakers.

And thus the reason I pulled the trigger on the M3. No regrets!

I see BMW of North Scottsdale, AZ, has a new M3 (in stock) with the same strip installed. This one has the Fox Red/Black interior though.

eh my 335i was getting 26 with Cobb Aggressive and only really dropped down in the 21-23 range once I started doing FBO. To have the m3 at 20-23 (I'm always in the 22s) is outstanding in my op...

Oh and I S* on a Cayman S and had a guy and his wife in a ford come up to my window and laugh and say "he's got nothing on you" love this m3!
