sunroof problem

Hi
Owner of a 2010 X5 30i
Has anyone ever had a sunroof problem like this. My sunroof is stucked in a raised position. I checked the tracks and they are all clear. Now the visor will not close all the way as well b/c of the sunroof.

When I press the switch 2x in the opening direction, nothing happens. Sunroof suppose to open. It was working fine in raised position and fully open.

Any advice,
Thank in advance, Fab

Have you tried the Sunroof reset? That typically solves a lot of sun roof issues.. start your car or at least put the key in the ignition in the 2nd position if you are in a garage, etc... sit in the car and press and hold the sunroof button as if venting (not opening or closing)... push straight up and hold until the panel cycels through completely. Mine took around 45 seconds or so for anything to start happening and another minute or two for the roof to completely cycle through.. My roof was having all kinds of issues and eventually stopped working all together... after this reset roof is working perfect...
