E60 (2004 - 2010)

paddle for bmw e60 550i

i would known where is possible to find the paddle for my bmw e60 550 im year 2006.in the mrpaddleshift website it seems that these paddles are not still present.thanks for now

You have to have the Sports Automatic Transmission, not Steptronic to have the paddle shifters.

Paddles can be retrofitted to the steptronic, how well they work? No idea, I do know it's expensive. The only ones that came with paddles are 2004-2005 545/M5 with SMG and 2008+ 550 with sports auto trans (Same trans were free upgrades for the V8 cars, but optional extras on the I6 car).

That is the Steptronic trans, not the same as Sports Auto trans (which was not available until 2008 cars). Let me see if I can dig up any DIYs about this upgrade and I will post them here for you.
