different auto trans kit for I6 and V8 models?

I was looking at pelican and there are 2 types of kits I can buy. but when going to ecstuning, they only list 1 kit for both I6 and V8 models.

can someone please enlighten? thanks

edit: I am a dummy. seems the ecstuning part is only for the V8 models.

thanks for the clarification.

when you say GM, I suppose you mean General Motors? If yes, I didn't know they sell their transmissions to other makers.
