Also, the staggered setup on the m sport comes in 19's....and in general, tires get more expensive as they get larger. Wider tires in back will give you better off the line traction and theoretically wider tires square improve handling, but all things being equal, a staggered setup will produce more under steer than a square setup. Unless you're tracking the car, though, this conversation is almost entirely about aesthetics. Which do you think LOOKS better and do you want to pay for it?
Thanks a lot.

My VIR shows

2PE 18" star-spoke 400M wheels w/ mixed summer tires
and
ZPT Performance Summer Tires

Are these square tires or staggered tires?

Could I have asked for square tires instead? I did not know whether I had a choice. I just thought I could choose between summer performance and all season.

Thanks.
The no cost summer perf tire/increased speed limiter option on a sport line is staggered.

My response as far as I can tell is spot on, per bmwconfig you can order a sport line, summer tires, increased limiter, and square wheels.

It's also what I happen to be driving.

I wasn't quoting you. Nothing you said was incorrect, I agree.

Sorry to be slow here guys, but I'm still confused. On a sport line 335, can you opt for the staggered setup or is square all that is available without going to the M Sport line?

If you go with 19s on the Sport Line, you get the staggered set-up.
