Brake Lamp Switch

Hey everybody. Just needed to ask a quick question. I had my headlights and tailights rewired earlier today and ran across a slight problem. My Brake Lamp Switch is defective. ( I cant be too surprised as it is a 95) but the thing is: where can I purchase an original 1995 BMW 318i M3 brake lamp switch???? I really dont wanna jeri-rig a part in there.

thanks in advance comrades

The dealership? Online?

Use realoem.com to get your part number, then search that number for online vendors that are in the Philippines.

There ain't no such animal. There was no 318 M3. It's a 318i. Doesn't matter what body kit or badges it has, it's still a 318.

Whatever the car, you will want to buy the 4 pin switch pictured above if the car has check control, or a 2 pin switch if it does not.

At least on the non-compact E36 models: compare the two 07 entries. The compact (e.g., 318ti) is a lovable mongrel so I hesitate to suppose what it will have.
