God's Chariot. The E30 was produced primarily from 1982 through 1991. The cabriolet was the one exception which was produced through 1993.

Exclamation **1987 325e Not Starting**

Hey guys, I just recently returned from a 10 day vacation, and when I got back to routinely start up my bimmer...nothing. It stays in a closed garage, not fully insulated but I don't think that this is the problem. Electrical is all good, gauges are normal, headlights work as well as internal lights, however when I turn the key, all I hear is a faint clicking, like a spark plug. The engine won't even turn over. Please help. I used the same key and even tried my spare. Gas is full as well as the battery. HELP!!

Might want to check your main relay. with the ignition on got to the relay box(not the relays that are with the fuses) unplug the first one to the left should be the only 5 pin relay in the 3 cluster also it is probably white/grey the others are orange. once you unplug it touch it to the connections and listen, if you hear a clicking sound. If there is no sound then you need to get a new one. Or it could be your CPS and or ECU has failed. Check main relay first then go to fuses

hope this helps

first try jumping the car. you could have a weak battery with a dead cell. if the car starts, new battery and get the alternator tested. if it still clicks, i would go towards the starter

Bad ignition coil maybe. Check the resistance on the primary and secondary terminals
