Question 2014 LCI vs 2013. Did anything change? Photos, please?

Trying to decide whether to pull the trigger on a 2013 or wait for a 14.

Would love to see side by side photos to evaluate the visible changes...

...it doesnt look like much was done.

I picked up my 13 in October and was initially disappointed at the LCI... However, they are so minor that I really don't care any more. If it would have the new technology GPS, maybe I would be a little more upset, but I just don't care any more... You're talking the side accent piece and the new headlights as the noticeable changes.

I found a sticky thread on zpost that shows the new headlights and side trim together... if thats about it, no big deal.

Only advantage I can see getting a '14 now, is in 2 years only having a "one model year old" car.

Re: 2014 LCI vs 2013. Did anything change? Photos, please?

I picked mine up two months before danmiami received his and I was disappointed that there was an LC I coming out too. But it really isn't a big difference and only the most discriminating BMW enthusiast would notice the true differences. I think it's weird that they're already coming out with 2014's. The 2013 model year Z4 has to be the shortest production run ever. It may make the 2013 Z4 more collectible further down the line. Does anybody know how many 2013s were made?

Headlight, side markers and a slightly different set of options / combos. As far as I'm aware, that's the entirety of the changes.

I REALLY don't like what they did with the side marker, and theres a slot / hole cut into the body to accommodate it. (theres a guy on zpost that has retrofitted the new maker onto a pre-LCI E89 and he posted steps).
