Use any decently rated synthetic oil. They all mix and you'll be fine.

How far will you be going that you expect to burn a full quart?

Re: Synpower 5w30 mst??

I acutally dont burn anything its a tiny tiny tiny leak on the corner of the oil pan...im going 870miles almost 2k round trip. Since i have synpower mst 530 now if i need to put a quart in of mobile 1 fully synthetic and run it for 800+ will the mixture be ok? I mean i kinda find it stupid to do a oil change now and whenbi get home lol

You`re worried about something *that doesn`t need worrying about*....one quart only represents about 15% of the engine`s oil capacity, so it really doesn`t matter if you put Castrol, Mobil 1, Shell, or whatever in it....your engine will never know the difference....

Oil changes don't hurt. Everytime I take a long trip, I make sure I change the oil, even if its 3000km old.

You can think it like beer.
Technically they are all the same, but we know that some brands are better than others.
Anyway rare brands are so bad that can't have one sometimes.

You're taking excessively good care of your engine oil-wise!
