Mini Convertible

Hi All

We are thinking of purchasing our fourth Mini - we've had the following: One D, MCS Convertible (supercharged), MCS Countryman (turbo).....not counting the original Austin Mini!

So, we're now thinking of going back to an MCS Convertible, but one thing that used do drive me mad was the fact that as you slide the seat forward to give access to the rear, the seat never returns to the same place i.e. it will move forward and back on the rails.

We've looked at a Beetle Convertible and that seat locks back to the original position...

So....my question is, am I missing something? Does your seat lock? Is it something that can be adjusted?

Thanks in advance!

Memory worked fine on our 2008 Mini Hatch But only if you used this sequence:
Lift the release at the top of the seat back rest
tilt the back rest
slide the seat forward

slide the seat back
return the seat back to the normal position.

More often than not, someone would get the sequence wrong and the seat would loose the memory setting.
