Auto Start/Stop for 2014

Has anyone checked the default setting on the 2014 models?

My SA thinks there was a change to have the default the last setting (on or off) as is the case with the F series cars.

Can you report back what you have in your 2014 X1?

Otherwise, I will ask the SA to change the programming to set the default to last setting.

Many thanks.

Auto Start/Stop for 2014

The 2014 remembers your preference once you set it, so no need for any fix.

That's great. One less thing to get programmed.

Just fyi on my xDrive35i, eco mode always defaults to off each time the car is started. My car was built in late April 2013 and I picked it up at Welt on 5/18. I actually like that it defaults to off on each start as I won't use it unless my wife is in the car. eco mode on the 35i makes for smooth acceleration and I'd highly recommend it during the break in period.

I'm pretty sure ECO PRO defaults to off on every BMW sold in the US with the feature.
