How do I get rid of fog light malfunction code?

I just removed my fog lights to install an m5 bumper on my 535i. I'm getting a fog light error code and want to remove it. I do NOT want to keep bulbs on but hidden in bumper. Can anyone please give me advise on how I can stop code from appearing. I have a jb4 but not sure auto clear enable is my best option.

if anyone feels like driving to western mass, i can do it for them. Its basically you need to code your car to not do cold monitoring light checks. I did it on my x5 when my rear lights were corroded and occasionally didn't work sending the code on cluster.
