Engine light

So I reached 56k on my 745LI and the engine came on while I was driving. I check the status and it said emission related. Does anybody knows what it means and how much its goes to cost me to get it fix?

Could be something as simple as tightening your gas cap or a very expensive catalytic converter replacement. Only an analysis of the car by a tech can tell.
