battery question

Wasup evryone
I got a quick question for u guys about my battery
Going on a vacation for 3 months and im not gana be using my car its just gana b sitting in the garage
So what do I do with the battery so it wont die on me
Do I just take the wires off from the terminal ? And if I do that will I have to register the battery again when I hook it back up ? Any opinions ? Thnx

turn the switch off, on the right side above the fuses in the trunk. you should be golden for the extended sleep (hibernation) until you get back

But does that switch kills the whole electric system ? Ive nvr used it before

3 weeks is nothing. But the best thing to do to extend the life of your battery is to get the battery tender from BMW and connect it to the terminals under the hood. Do NOT connect it to the battery directly!
