I have a 94 530i . And I was wondering what a good exhaust would be to put on . And open up the revs

There has alway been some persian guys on criagslist selling e39 M5 knock off parts.. mufflers,bumpers,mirrors..ect

the sell them in different colors, black/crome/burnt tips/ black with chome tips.. w/e.. 1 is sufficient for an m60, 2 does not feel wrong.. 1 sounds a bit better maybe..2 was on an auto e38 tho.

Do i need to make a sound clip..? i know i posted a bunch of pics before, here 1 or 2 more any ways..

The 540i has a one freaking HUGE muffler! ways like 50-60 pounds at least.. so this really free's it up and takes a chunk o weight with it..

No drone from my mufflers ever.. auto or MT they weigh nothing also.. i ran 2 into 1, 1 back and hung it

(if you got money, look else where.. do your home work.. if you don't have say at least 300$-1200$ THIS IS IT! ITS GREAT AND 70$ CANT BE BEAT

Where can I get one of those!? My 535i still has the original muffler on it but it's old and rusted. I would like a cheap replacement for my car since I don't have a job yet to buy expensive mufflers.

I have but they have expensive ones and cheap ones. http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_odkw...ffler&_sacat=0 this is what came up. Just not sure which one to buy because I don't want to spend too much for just a muffler.

Ok i looked at that page with my phone. From my experiance ill say this is the style muffler you want.. It is light, compact, and clean to eye when installed.

Note the tips dont bend up, or double wall back over like add on tips. Here is the link!

http://item.mobileweb.ebay.com/viewi...id=86357858805

As for the color of the canister, tips, burnt tips and such thts all your choice..

As long as you stick to that style it shall fit, feel, look and sound right.

At 52$ id say go for it! You can CL it for more if you had too

Re: 530i exaust

Another thing is, I need to make sure that the size is exact. Because when I had a muffler of a 525I and tried to put it on, the bmw guy at the shop told me that it will lose power if installed because of it being smaller

Its not the size of the muffler, it is the flow threw it that it allows. Less flow = more back pressure. You want a tiny amount of back pressure not much.

I have it on my 4.0L it flow's great.. 3.5L is no issue..

I had 2 on my e38 4.0 still not bad.. These flow a lot more than stock
