Dealer Coding

Although there are posts that describe all of the wonderful coding changes you can make (some of which may or may not void a warranty), does anyone have a list of coding that dealers are actually willing to make? (for those of us who are less adventurous)

The only item I have seen described on the forum was the last use setting for the engine start/stop.

What other settings are dealers willing to change and/or what other settings do most of you find are most useful for dealers to change?

You've got it right there :-)

Other than that, dealer will not make changes for you.

Even for auto start stop coding, my dealer had to contact BMW for authorization.

Dealers don't have the software to do coding. I suspect that when the dealer changes the Auto Stop/Start they do a complete software update, which takes hours.

The Dealer has all the software coding Lol, How do you expect for them to reprogram the replacement parts of the broken ones?

Dealers mostly hire techs for a reason, not mechanics to service your car
