HELP-New Starter Still No Crank

Hi All,

I have a 2008 Z4 that will not crank over and I need a little help. First thought was the battery, but that tested good. Voltage drop to the started is good. Pulled the solenoid wire and tested with meter and had 12+v when the key is turned to start. Must be the starter. Replaced the starter and the engine started once. Turned it off and tryed a again, no start. Checked connections, all ok. Tested solenoind wire, 12v with meter. Tested again with test light, and found the light will not light! Ran a jump wire, 12v to solenoid term and engine cranks fine. Wiring info I got from Mitchell shows the wiring going to an Integrated Supply Module. I'm not sure how to test the module system. Hoping someone will have info on the issue.

Any help will be most appreciated

Thank,
Rick

I do not know if this will help but, I have heard the positive cable that runs from the batt will go bad on some Z4's. Good luck !
