Mein Auto: 2006 Z4
Transmission 2006 Auto

I have a 2006 Z4 automatic which has 94K on it that I do not drive hard. I have noticed lately that when changing from PARK to NEUTRAL or PARK to DRIVE it changes a little rough. It seems that it is not changing smoothly...hmmmm. Sorta jerks the car. Does not grind. Drives fine. Gears change fine and smoothly. Just this issue. Wondered if anyone else has ever experienced this or have any ideas as to why this might be.

Also....one more question if I may....read opinions on here about changing transmission fluid and not changing transmission fluid. Still do not have good feeling either way. Would like more input.

Thanks

Do a search, I thought I bookmarked the thread and I guess I did not. At the differential and the drive shaft there was a fix for what you describe. I have not had the issue myself. I just remember reading about the issue. Wishing you well.
