A more direct answer would be near the center of the car, in the middle. you'll find them. On a 1993, there are two. There is a bracket that the cables tie into. The replacements are not OEM in the sense that the cables are of proper length, but a bit longer. I've changed mine out without issue. I'm hoping that the angle is a bit better on the 94, than it was on my 93.
