E82 / E88 1 Series (2008 - 2013)
BMWs throw back to the iconic 2002, with a renewed form and function. The smallest car in BMW's line up but still packs a punch. Available in coupe or convertible, powered by either an inline 6 in the 128 or the twin turbo rocket sled 135.

Post My New BMW 135i

Yup and I have the pictures to prove it!

The car is jet black, has the M Sports Pkg, heated seats, BMW Assist, Satellite Radio, black Boston Leather, and the DCT transmission.

The MSRP was $44,725, and I bought it for $38,500. I couldn't peddle my MX-5, but I dickered with the dealer over a couple of months and finally got a decent trade.

Some aspects of the Miata I miss. It was a more agile car with lighter steering and was very easy to toss around. However, the BMW is more comfortable to drive with great seats (Sport Seats part of the M Sports Pkg), and it runs like a rocket.

Congrats on the car. You will have fun. Someday, I hope to own a Miata 2-seater convert...they look like mighty fun cars though I assume they could be punishing on bumpy roads. My guess is that in 10 years I will own one...unless some cool hybrid 2-seater convert becomes available (I assume at some point I will become frugal with respect to purchases)
