Unhappy 94 540i alarm system issue

hi, i got a 1994 bmw 540i and everything works perfect. after a week the alarm system seems acting so weird, whenever i lock my car using both door key & remote key it starts beeping/maiking noise and if i unlocked it, it stops. i dont have any idea if the fuse is blown or theres a short circuit. i check and look for the alarm system control box on the rear set but theres no alarm system box in there. But everything in the car is working.Anybody know how to fix this?

The alarms on the 540's were different than any other alarms used on the e34. I would suggest you just stop using it all together. I've heard horror stories about alarms going off at all times of the night and not being able to disarm. Mine stopped working not too long ago and truthfully I don't miss it.
If you want it fixed you're need a gt1 diagnostic tool to scan for problems in the system. Some independent mechanics still use them.

There's a fuse you could take out but you will lose you on board computer ( the thing that keeps up w/mpg etc.). If you take out your back seat on the drivers side bolted to the bulkhead of the seat is the alarm control module.

There's a block in the receiver in the mirror on mine. I need to use a gt1 myself to disable the block.
