Question Anyone seen a Damask Red BMW?

Between Post and Fest, looks like there's been few (two to be exact) mentions/photos of a Damask Red GT.

It strikes me to be similar to an Acura dark red. Not sure though. Anyone seen one? Thoughts?

seen it.. trendy right now... im not a fan...id get bored of the red car.. and too recognizable based on the color and the limited number of them out there.... this car is fast..and at times unnoticeably fast... fast and red to me dont mix...too much attention for the red and blue lights....

Hello, I had Damask Red on a 535 GT when they first came out in 2010. I had no idea what color it was, because I hadn't seen one yet. I enjoyed the color and it looked brighter in the daylight and darker at night. Attached are some pics, hope that helps.

Yes, that was one of the two I found. It strikes me as a dark color that if you saw it out of the corner of your eye, you'd think it was a dark brown color. Is that true?

Also, apparently in 2010, there was a shadowline trim available on your non-M Sport model which helps it a lot. I don't think today's chrome around the glass house would look as nice as yours.

Yes, it does appear to be a dark brown at night - depending upon the lighting. I enjoyed the color and it was one that made heads turns, because its not a color your see daily.

In 2010 the shadowline was standard or included in Sport Package I believe. A month ago, a coworker had a 535GT in Damask Red and honestly the chrome looked good, it added a luxury look to it, in my opinion.

Oddly, I saw two GTs today. One was Damask red. It's definitely a dark color. From seeing it on the road and not just in showroom photos, it is one I would not choose.
