Where to get/install new RF

I will be turning in my GT next may. I have 19k miles on the odo. and tires. While the tires have some life left, I will be needing new ones before the turn in. I thought I might just as well do it now before any long summer trips.
I need some suggestions about where to buy and have installed the replacement RF 19" tires.
Thanks for help.

http://f10.5post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=857985 might work out for you. I've generally had good luck with www.tirerack.com, but you should have lots of choices in NYC...

Actually, the bigger issue is the mounting problems with the RF tires. I have bought from tire rack in the past with regular tires. Anyone can mount them. Has anyone gotten reasonable pricing from the dealer?

I've not needed tires for this car, so no experience with their pricing. Some garages are equipped for mounting RFT, some aren't. If they are, those I've dealt with don't charge any more for it. If they aren't, they generally won't even try. The TPMS stems need a rebuild kit at the same time when you mount the new tires...most know this and will do it, but you should ask to be certain. Last tires I bought from Tirerack were winter tires, and I had them mount them on new wheels with new TPMS, so they were ready to bolt on when they arrived.

Not sure if you have Town Fair Tire in NY, but I have found them to be tremendous. They match any online price you can show them (e.g. Tire Rack), provide free changeovers for the life of the vehicle, plus a free road hazard warranty for any tires they sell / install. Great business model.

If you are close to lease end (and it sounds like the OP is 11 months away) it is almost always less expensive to return the BMW with bald tires than to replace them yourself. The BMWFS per-tire charge is almost always less than a discount tire dealer, and you don't have to pay for mounting, balancing, disposal, TPMS rebuild, etc.
