FYI - Seems that the parts are about $100 cheaper at mybimmerparts.com than at the previously mentioned site. Anybody else find them cheaper?

Also, has anyone done the 760 chrome strip on the diffuser? I kind of like the idea, but have yet to see it in person. Any thoughts on this?
You kind of need to do the chrome strip or there is a big gap there where it is supposed to fit in. My diffuser and strip are covered in carbon fiber wrap.

sorry guys, but didn't see this posted in the thread... Does anyone know if the M sport package diffuser works with the quad tips or do you need to replace that too? looking at the parts list for the M Sport package, it shows the tip options but there is only 1 diffusor part noted.

anyone confirm no need for a new diffusor for the M sport (sorry but rather ask then find out the hard way)..

thanks guys..

M Sport package on your 7 you'll need to get diffuser 51-12-8-047-364

This is different than the diffuser for NON-M Sport which needs 51-12-7-209-922

Ok, I've read the posts and am now confused. Can I simply buy the quad exhausts for my M package bumper and just screw them in with NO mods necessary? Again M bumper, NOT standard bumper for me. Thanks!

As long as you order the 760 diffuser for the M Sport bumper, from my understanding, it should work.

You need new diffuser only for M Sport. New diffuser and chrome strip for regular bumper

Diffuser must be removed to access screws to remove tips.

So read through this thread, about to purchase all the parts needed but before I do I'm not sure about one thing...do you have to modify the existing 750 exhaust to install these tips?

No, but they will not line up perfectly. You can try and do another mod to line them up, but that involves the exhaust pipes and such. You do need to cut off a part of the metal tab on the back of the tips, however so they do not hit against the exhaust.

How do you pop out the rear diffuser? I have a M Sport Rear Bumper.

Take out the three plastic "screws" underneath the diffuser first. They aren't really screws. Use a trim tool to pop out those plastic things. Then just start pulling on the diffuser. I started at the far side by the exhaust. Put a blanket under the diffuser before you start. When it pops out it might hit the ground. Very easy to take off

thank you. I hope I can take out the exhaust tips without too much problems. I want to install the Quad Tips.

I was thinking about installing the quad tips ....then, just cut the current diffuser with the exacto knife to make the tips fit. Would that be too ghetto? I think it's too much work to get the new diffuser painted.

If done and sanded properly it can look fine. In Europe the 730d model diffuser is frequent cut out on its passenger side to make room for quad exhaust mod. Good luck.

Or maybe use a dremel tool, if you're hands are steady. Not sure how much wider the quad tips are.

Finally got all the parts for my exhaust conversion! Damn 760 non-M diffuser was backordered and had to wait to get a new one from Germany.

Now... All of you who have done this mod:

Any pictures of the cut 760 tips? I want to be sure I'm not over-trimming the tabs behind or facing fitment issues.

Also, anybody figure out a way to get the pipes to line up without re-hanging the exhaust?
