Exclamation Buying a 2009 750li

I wanted to ask if there are any major issues with this year of the 7 series. I had an 2007 750li and that year of cars had the issues with the logic 7 amp and transmission issues. Your thoughts and advice will be much appreciated and help me decide to get this car

Buying a 2009 750li

I have a 2009 750i. No huge issues. Listen for a oil pump whine after the car is warm and rev the engine to about 1500 rpm. It sounds to me like when a power steering pump would be going bad.

Transmission can still be a little finicky in the shifts just like the E65/E66. Reset transmission adaptation the same way you could in your 2007 to see if it helps.

If you have the camera package, make sure they work as quality seems a little low. If they appear blurry, adjust the light sensitivity in the idrive.

Overall it is a pretty solid car.

1) push start button once with foot off the brake.

2) press gas pedal to the floor for 25 seconds.

3) put foot on the brake and push start button.

4) you should notice the car shifts smoother now. This car learns the way you drive and bases its shifts on that.

5) I do this every time I fill up with gasoline.
