Might be jumping back into the BMW game, found an 2011 7

Looking at a 2011 750iX at a non-BMW dealer. M packages, cold weather, premium, head up display. They want $53500 and it has 27k on it. Does that sound reasonable?

Thanks! The real issue now is the value of my 2012 Audi A6. I don't want to be underwater on it. Hate buying cars! But I really want an F01

You'll love it, try stretching the warranty a bit into the deal which is always a plus with these cars . I paid 49k two months ago for my never titled 09 F02 but it only had 3k miles and basically all the options (check my SIG). GL on your decision

Going to see the car finally today. they dropped the price by a grand. It's at a Lexus dealer is the only issue and I keep hearing that after market warranties aren't always honored by BMW and the BMW extended warranty on a 7 is close to $6k! I do have a great mechanic that always does me favors so I might just buy it and hope for the best. I've had so many BMWs that I know I'll have some issues.

Looking at an F01 with M Package today - options question...

Did the 2011 models have BMW apps in them? If so, and IF the car didn't come equipped with the apps, is it possible to add them later? And does anyone know if that year had bluetooth capabilities for the iphone, specifically for streaming spotify or pandora through the iDrive system? My audi does it and I love that feature.thanks

If you can wait till Sept. you will be able to get it closer to $50k, because a lot of the 3 year lease cars are now starting to come back.

The inventory you see now are mostly from pull forward leases that are 3 to 4 months early from their term date, so you will pay a higher premium for it.

Wait till Sept if you can.

Thanks ndavani. I think I'm going to get this one for close to $51k, maybe less. It all depends on what they offer me for my M12 Audi A6. If they pay me what my payoff is, I'm done.

Do IT!!!!!! although anything over 47k should be certified, Ive looked at a few low mileage cars around the 20k mark and they are mostly cert to 2016.

Get the last 7 digits from the VIN# and then goto this website to see what options are in the car.

http://www.rubmw.ru/vincode/eng/

If not included in the options for this car, you can hit up Bimmer-Tech for a retrofit.

ah good ol' 1bad. how you doin' man? Yes, I'm 99% back. Still have the Audi til 4:30p. They're detailing the F01. I'm only regretting the fact that it doesn't have a rear backup camera and the side assist warnings, I got used to those in the Audi. But, it does have the M Package which was my main goal overall. You know me, I just don't like any car being standard. I will most likely NOT mod this one out like the last one. The wheels are pretty nice looking, no need for a rear trunk spoiler or rear window spoiler on this car, in my opinion. It's dark gray with black interior and anthracite headliner.

I do love the leather dash. I will tell anyone looking to move up from the e65 to the F01, be warned, it's a big car. The hood is so fricking wide!!!!!!! Seriously, I can barely see over the sides. HUUUUUUUGE. But the seats are oh so comfortable. I have some warning light on that Lexus can't fix regarding my seat configuration. No idea what it is but I'm sure my BMW dealer can sort it out. And all the tires are bad, so there's $1500 extra. I think I'll just get black grills, rubber floor mats and be done! It's a 2011 with only 27k on the odo, so that's great.

I also haven't decided if I'm going to debadge this one, big debate for me. I was also thinking of ordering the black gloss 750i emblem instead of chrome. That's about it for mods. I'm not going to lower it since it's already a sport package and M package and I'm not betting bigger wheels again. Too many pothole in chicago. And no spacers! This is the first car I just can't see modding much.

Whyd you get rid of the Audi?

I take it you hated it enough after only a year... Audi's are boring, though not as boring as an E Class.

The backup camera you can retrofit, I'm surprised a '11 doesnt have it standard.

Take some pictures when you get a chance.

Welcome back
Chris

Yeah, i'm a little shocked there's no backup cam. I think it's around $1300 just to buy the parts for the retrofit, so I might not do it. Seems like a lot of moolah for it right now. The Audi was a great car, fun to drive and very very fast! And the electronics and technical gizmos were amazing! But it was a little small for me and the seats weren't what the 7s are. And it felt a little cheaper but then again, it was a lot cheaper. I didn't get an A8 so no real comparison to the 7

I actually went to look at a 20k mile non msport last week that was cpo'd. Car looked really nice I asked to drive it and they told me I needed to make an appointment for a 7 series. I was wearing a t shirt and cargo shorts. Glad he didn't let me drive It because I was 99% certain I was going to drive it home when I saw it. I guess the cargo shorts and the rolex Presidential didn't warrant a test drive.

Hah! I was actually wearing my old cargo shorts, a t shirt and I specifically did NOT wear my Rolex Daytona because I thought maybe i'd get a better deal if he didn't see the bling! Too funny. I really wanted the M sport package, that was my main goal so I wouldn't have to mod out the car to make it look like an M. I really want black grills but everyone says they look too cheap.

Guess I'm just hard core in my shorts and t-shirts. I wear a $26 Casio G-Shock. When dealers see that watch, they are falling over themselfs to get me to test drive their cars.

Thanks! Does it show anything other than your speed? I don't have the car in possession yet, it's being detailed as we type. I'd like to know if the NAV or ipod or stereo info shows up there or if it's just simply a speedo.
