Next-gen MazdaSpeed 3

I hate the last two gens of Mazda 3 and Mazdaspeed 3, and not a huge fan of the new Mazda 3, but I think this MazdaSpeed rendering looks really good.

New model has 2" more interior room, 200 lb lighter, and an i-Drive style knob and pop up screen.

One of my coworker can't wait to put his deposit on the SA table.
In his opinion - this is what he get.

I hope he's not paying MSRP for an econobox.

I like Mazda new kodo design language. Unlike acura, Mazda is not suborn about changing it design.

Mazdas for me = fantastic driving cars and bulletproof reliability. If they made a RWD sedan or wagon, I'd never come back to BMW.

I sometimes think that if Mazda would take what it's learned from the MX-5, 3 and RX-8, put them into a RWD compact-to-midsize sedan (similar to the current 3), they could potentially create something akin to a modern E30. It would probably even be extremely reliable as long as they didn't use a rotary engine.

Definitely. A Mazda3 sedan that's RWD with the 2.5 wouldn't be a rocket but it'd handle like a dream and be bulletproof.

You, blueguy, and maybe one other guy in the country.

Mazda's not a very big company, they can't afford to make a new small rear-drive platform. They should though, would make way more money than the RX-8 made.

My coworker just send me new image - look at small pop up screen on dashboard. That what BMW call head up display.
