Not sure about fitting the new lights into the older car. Mtec V2's look really good and have the white LED color. They are the only bulbs that I have tried that get rid of of the ugly yellow color.

There have been several posts about it here, so a quick search might help.

In short, besides the mentioned AE LED upgrades (there are several brands that work so so) a 2013 headlight upgrade is the best, but cost prohibitive way to do so. Physically everything fits, but the LED package will cost you something like $7k+ with all modules.

My best suggestion is to wait for some of the 2013 LCI's without LED option to be involved in crashes and then pickup the used headlights off Ebay, like so:

The guy is a dreamer, but I have seen these for $400-$500.

Those should be easy to fit. Good luck

A fellow fester did the conversion.
He did a great job on it.
Be ready to blow a good load of cash!

This is the route I am taking. I have an MY 04/09 build and I've tried all the LED angel options for the F01. NONE of them work without error.
