Coding - Trunk

Had a buddy code my 2013 750Li last night and ran into a problem trying to get the key fob to close the trunk. I could close it by pushing the button "conveniently" located at the front of the door near the floor. We tried several times and could not get it to take. We could hear the trunk "click" but nothing would happen. Anyone else have this issue? We were wondering if it had something to do with the camera that you can wave your leg in front of and it raises the trunk. That is the only difference between my 12' 750 that it worked flawlessly.

Problem solved. Apparently it takes time for the code to take. It is working fine now.

Trunk coding does take around 20 minutes or so, mine worked almost instantly but on some cars it takes a bit longer. Glad it worked out for you and it sucks that BMW didn't have this option from the factory.

Wow! Suffering sucatash Batman! I just discovered I have the foot sweep trunk opener and I was envious to see my 5 series loaner had it and I thought mine didn't. I also discovered a week ago that my rear view camera has the parking guide lines and hazard markers and that they can be turned on by pressing option when the rear view camera is active.

What else do I have that I didn't know about?

Lol, go back to your dealer and ask them to demo it for you. You'll learn all kinds of fancy stuff.
