"Speed Info" reader in Australia

Hi to all and a special hello to Aussie members,
I'm a new member, E70 X5 2011 owner and have a special interest in the "Speed Info" reader that has just been removed from my vehicle without my permission.
Looking to hear from other members who have been subjected to this treatment and what they have done in response.
I'm only looking for Australian responses from affected people, so please guys leave it to those who recognise the situation.

More background needed.

Were you involved in an 'incident' and the police siezed your EDR (Event data recorder)?? Or is this something specific to Oz?

Ive only heard of these devices being taken under specific legal authority... if this is the case you ought to be speaking to a lawyer.

Hi there,

Can you explain the circumstances by which this has come to be.
It's concerning that speed (or any data) can be taken from an on board system within a vehicle without prior knowledge or consent!
Look forward to hearing back.

Cheers.

It's only been a few days and he is on the other side of the world after all. Maybe he got caught by a couple of hot Sheila's at Bondi down there or something. I would give him at least a week.

Then he got caught in a snow storm. There are parts of Oz that you would never know if it is winter or summer. Those of course would be the pubs.

Hi Guys, my Post is intentionally vague so only those affected will recognise the subject. I'll just reply privately to an affected person so please leave it alone.

Twit.

He probably got pulled over for suspected hooning and they impounded his car- the "poll" he started (post #2 of his career) is a public poll so he can then PM anyone that says yes.

This is not a thread that will serve any community interest, IMO. Simply his self serving interest.

Someone say Yes, and post up whatever he tells you.....
