Rusty pipes

Does anyone have two rusty exhaust tips coming out their back bumper? Any suggestions on how to shine them up? Thanks

If you have a 3.0i, BMW sold chrome tips that slip over the factory tailpipe ends. I think I paid about $40 for the pair.
