What do you use your memory buttons for?

The memory button 1-6 can be used for more than just radio stations

What are some common uses?

Assuming you have iDrive, you can use the buttons for almost anything (there are a few exceptions) you might choose with iDrive: destinations, toggles, phone numbers, to go to a certain function screen, whatever.

F series have 8 buttons; 6 does not seem like enough. It's almost a shame to waste them on radio presets.

Speaking of memory buttons....

How do you clear the function of a memory button?

Just curious...why would you need to clear a button? What's the harm in not clearing it? You can set it to something new anytime you want.

I had one button left over and couldn't decide what to program it to.
So I thought I would set it to the eco pro tips screen.
I think I just like that screen how they show the car and its inside parts.
Kinda looks cool.
