Carbon Fiber Splitter

I was wanting to install the BMW Carbon Fiber Splitters on my new M3 and was wondering about the ground clearance? Do they hang down lower than the stock bumper reducing the clearance and scraping the ground, or do they keep the same ground clearance as the original bumper? The original bumper is already pretty low and I can barely get out of the driveway without it scraping the ground when backing out.

Haven't had a problem so far. 7,200 miles since I bought the car.

It lowers the ground clearance, but unless you're going up a steep gradient, you'll be fine.
