Yes it tows very well. I towed a friends E36 about 5km at one stage, but this trip was around 400km each direction, empty on the way up, 525i on the back coming back.

It would quite happily haul at 100km/h which is open road speed limit here, and was happy to haul it to 120 when passing slower trucks etc. best when you come to hills though of course, when even cars with no trailers are slowing down, this just eats them up. Once its moving, it drove pretty much the same as it does normally, although i would need to raise the rear up a bit if i was towing often, has quite a bit of negative camber. When empty of course just drives exactly as normally does, doesnt even notice the 400kg trailer

Geeze that looks good. I'd go so far as to say that the silver on white is the best combination in the E34 range. Your car looks amazing!

So just picked up this beauty not so long ago. Planning on driving from Anchorage Alaska down to California. Trying to piece together a roof rack system. Last thing on the list is the actual Box carrier but still looking for the right deal. The PVC pipe in this picture is something I built to carry my fishing rods. Starting to get really attached this car!

I remember an awesome thread that chronicled an e30 owners trip from Alaska to bimmerfest 2010. Nice lookin' e34.

My first bimmer

Here she is. I just got her back from the shop. It had some front end issues when I first bought it about a month ago... Bushings, control arms, bearings (front and back. Had the A/C rebuilt. Secondary fan replaced.. and an alignment. Feels like a brand new car. Now on to the body work.
Anyone know of a good body shop in NYC?

Also - my mechanic is trying to convince me that I don't need a spray. She says that a good compound will do just as good. Anyone have thoughts on this?

How much is the slam affecting your rear camber? I would think that you would eat up the inside edge of some tires if you ride it that slammed for very long.

It does rub pretty bad on my spring perch. I'm not too worried though, I need new tires/wheels any way. Want to go to a square set up so I can rotate tires.

Even for a set of ACS type 2s. I have to daily this beast lol. I probably will just stay with the mpars but somebody's got me wantin' to step up my wheel game.

Shelbyz4u2nv's 540i is my inspiration for this. I came across this pic when I first got my car and thought to myself ''That's freakin' amazing! I want that!"

I have to say the height is pretty similar. It's really not that low, From stock yes, but I was along side a new 3series and it was just as low as my car.
