Nope. But maybe I don't have cold weather package. I have heated and cooled seats but no rear heated seats or ski bag. Can I buy a heated steering wheel or would there still be no button to turn it on?

ouch... that's not standard?!? Was it you that also mentioned that you don't have a rearview camera? What is BMW up to, sheesh? When Hyundais get these kinds of features on a 20k car...

Yup, if you have it, it is a button on the L side of the steering column.

It's hard to spot. Right next to the steering tilt/telescope adjustment.

ok, so as i thought, I DONT have the cold weather package. Is it possible to simply buy a heated sports M steering wheel (ebay, pretty cheap) AND buy a new button setup that has the column adjustment and heated wheel button? Is it that simple?

Someone on here (maybe Rajeek?) just put in a brand new steering wheel and it didn't sound like a simple plug and play kind of operation...

I'm sure it's not, not with BMW anyway. I can probably live without it I guess.

Myself and BaranE are big on retrofits. I have never even heard of this being performed. Likely expensive retrofit if even possible. Easily starts at $1000+.

I did this. Fairly easy. You need to change the SW though. As I was changing the SW to M sport from the basic one, airbag needed to be changed as well. So all in all total cost was somewhere along 4-5k incl. airbag.

Guess it can be done. Yikes on the price!

I have the luxury seating I'm sure and I have about half of what M4XBMW7 has but no ski bag or heated wheel or heated rear seats. Is yours a 2011? Probably newer I'm guessing.
