Navigation voice sound

Heyyyyy Peoples, Can anyone tell me how to raise the volume of the navigational voice on the 2011 535I?
I finally had a chance to use my navigation system in my car and I just could not hear the voice loud enough for the direction as I was driving...
Really need help to turning up the volume a bit...

You have to turn the radio volume knob WHILE the Nav voice is speaking. Easiest way may be to actually keep the radio off, and pause for a voice command, have the volume knob ready to turn.

The easiest way I have found to get the nav to speak (so you can turn up the volume, because as the other poster said, the only way to turn up the nav ladies voice is when she is actually speaking) is to :

1. Turn off Radio
2. Input nav location
3. turn up volume when she announces 1st instruction
3a. If you miss turning it up when she announces the instruction, simply toggle the voice instructions OFF (using the icon on the left hand side of the display), and then back ON. When you toggle the voice off and on, when it comes back ON, she will speak again (so you get another chance to turn it up / down.
