Back to more important topic, ///M-Rated said something about prestiging his "rifle" with you. Not sure exactly what he meant, but you may want to go to the C2C5 thread and check it out.

Complete BMW software package Hey folks,

Hey folks,
All my problems finding complete updated software packages to download (and work on windows7) have been solved!!
This BMW seller on eBay sent me a link to download everything off their CX.com cloud:

INPA Ediabas
NCSExpert
NCS Dummy(rare)
Carsoft 6.1
DIS & SSS (Program)

Also, full video installation instructions, all for only $23 bucks, lol.
It was killer. Here's a link to the product:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/181171423170...170%26_rdc%3D1

Enjoy!

Steve

Are those optional rotors and calipers? Seem too expensive to be on the base model, even on the Fier'er.

EV sets FIA record

Electrics are on the march: http://www.nbcnews.com/business/lola...ord-6C10464452

BMW is even about to release an electric BMW. Toward the end of the article in the above URL, mention is made of an EV racing series set to start in 2015. My question is does it get traction with fans? Silent racing just seems to be missing something. Going after a land speed record is one thing. A silent racing event seems to be such a... contradiction?

Would 'Festers go to an EV racing event?

First half sales.

This just in. BMW sales for the first six months squeaked by Audi, helped by an exceptionally strong June. Audi insists they will take the luxury sales crown away from BMW in 2014. Publicly, BMW feigns nonchalance. In Munich the office lights are on late into the night. Every night.

Well they'll have to "up the ante" on their local (L.A.) dealerships. NOT professional. On my last visit they threw my license on the roof and "lost" my key fob...while quoting me $100/mo. over an equiv. BMW. After I threatened them with kidnapping charges I was finally released.

Whatever...but this year I didn't set foot in the local Audi dealer's showroom (I've been trained), not to mention that I lost the spare handcuff key that I hid in my mouth during my last visit.

E93 gone... This is goodbye?

I let go of the E93 some time ago, it was a sad day...

I haven't posted in awhile so I only wish to take this moment to thank all of you. I learned a lot from the E9x subforum, and of course, was thoroughly entertained in the process.

Much appreciation,

'sixer

E36 guy here- anyone have some thoughts on this car?

http://washingtondc.craigslist.org/d...009153362.html

Price seems high to me, with 120k miles- but again, anything seems high to me coming from the E36 aging world.

Thanks 'festers!

Would this be considered a personalized license plate?

Pffft...an Audi R8 as "Saudi Arabia Royal 1"? Even I could possible afford an R8. Disappointed. Was it at least the V10?

I'd figure a Ferrari Enzo or FFX or the new La Ferrari would be Royal 1. The R8 should be like Royal 10.

I love the looks of the R8 Spyder, but alas, I can't fit in one. Just not enough leg room for me as I discovered when sitting in one at the dealership while getting our Audi serviced. I had hoped to pursue a used one in a few years once the prices started to soften.

Is the Spyder smaller than the regular R8? I do not recall it to be cramped in there and I'm neither tall nor short. I can't image it being smaller than a 911, no?

The R8 is incredibly easy to drive fast, which is both good and bad. Love the engine screaming behind you, though the interior was somewhat disappointing for a car at that price point; a lot of noisy hard plastics combined with leather.

LOL. Yes, it was the V10. I thought the same thing about the Audi being a bit conservative, then I thought maybe the Royal plates are assigned alphabetically, but Aston superceding Audi shot that theory down.

I can fit in the coupe but not very well in the spyder. I was in a 2013 or 2014 V10 that had just been delivered to the dealership about 2 hours before I arrived. The seat can't move back far enough because they moved the rear firewall closer to the front to enable storage of the convertible top.

I am very comfortable in my 911 cab, even at 6'4".

I don't like the coupe as well as the spyder. I prefer my 911 GTS over the R8 coupe primarily because my throttle response and manual transmission is fantastic.

There's really no need to ever justify getting a 911. A fine choice, indeed.

Hey All,

I haven't been around the forums in a bit of time, mainly due to the wedding plans. The planning is about to come to an end, and the party is going to start and me and the soon-to-be Mrs. Furball are getting married on Saturday. Some of you have met her at C2C IV, and for those who will attend C2C VI you will have a chance to see her again (or meet for the first time).

Anyhow, just wanted to share the happy news with my distant friends and fellow Bimmer lovers
