New Tires

For about a year now I have read every thread on RFT vs. non-RFT's, not just on the Z4 section but on other forums as well. And after a great deal of research, not to mention consternation, I finally pulled the plug on the RFT's and went with a set of Michelin Pilot SS. For those of you who have done this already, you will recognize my initial reaction: "This is how this car is supposed to drive / ride / handle!!! Yippee!!!!" It is literally like getting a new car, and one that is a really nice car to scoot about in. I wanted the new A/S 3's but the fronts are not available from Michelin until October and there was no way that I was going to wait that long. So I have come over to the dark side!!! Or really the side where the light is. Got me a Continental tire inflator kit from Tire Rack and some Pilot SS's. Un-freekin-believable! Why did I wait so long!!??

You can tell a man to go to the tire store, however you can not force him to go. LOL I know your feeling. I have been running on non runflats for over 170K miles. Two different Z4's !53k on a 2004 and 80k on a 2006, minus the miles to get through the first set of rft's
